On August 12, 2025, Grades 6 to 8 students went on an industrial visit to the Hatsun Dairy Farm in Ervadi, Tirunelveli Dt. The trip included 45 students and four teachers.

Factory officials guided them through various sections of the plant. Students had the opportunity to observe the entire dairy production process, from the milk processing units and packaging section to the quality testing labs. The officials provided a detailed explanation of the automated machinery, safety measures and the various hygiene practices followed throughout the factory.

The visit was highly informative and engaging. Students gained firsthand knowledge about the journey of milk from collection to the final packaged product. They also learned about the various career opportunities available in the dairy industry. The students were also actively engaged with the officials by asking insightful questions.

Overall, the trip was a successful and valuable learning experience by enriching both our students’ academic knowledge and their practical understanding of industrial processes.

Everyone returned to the school after enjoying a delicious ice cream cone given by the Hatsun.
