Independence Day Celebration: (15-8-2025)

The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at RICH Arena on 15th August in our school. Even though it has been raining in the morning, it stopped before the celebration letting us enjoy the beautiful weather and the programs.

The programme commenced with a parade by the council members, setting a patriotic tone for the day. This was followed by the soulful rendition of Tamil Thai Vazhthu by the choir students.

The National Flag was hoisted by the Correspondent, after which the choir group presented the Flag Song with a pride. To mark the celebration, a variety of cultural programmes was performed. Sanjana presented a graceful welcome dance, and the students showcased an impressive pyramid formation guided by Mr. Subin, Physical Director. A fancy dress competition was also organized for PKG to Grade 2 students, reflecting the spirit of freedom in a creative manner.

The students of Grades 7 and 8 sang a melodious patriotic song and performed an energetic dance, highlighting their love for the nation. To inspire the gathering, patriotic speeches were delivered in all three languages: Hindi by Kupera Lekshmi, English by Anlee Roshika and Tamil by Manshiyana.

The celebration was further enriched by the Principal, Ms. Lekshmi’s address and the Correspondent, Dr. Kumar Ganesan’s inspiring words. The event concluded with the National Anthem, sung with unity and pride by our students, followed by the distribution of sweets to all.

The celebration not only honored the nation’s freedom but also instilled a sense of patriotism and togetherness among the students and teachers.

The help and the presence of many parents catalysed our effort to make it another memorable day.
