Krishna Jayanthi Celebration: (27/08/2024)

We celebrated Krishna Jeyanthi in our school with our kindergarten students on 27-8-24 (Tuesday) with great enthusiasm and joy. The event included various activities, such as traditional dances, storytelling and pot breaking game. One of the most delightful aspects of the celebration was the dress up activity.

Many children dressed as lord Krishna, adorned in colorful dhotis and crowns, with props like flutes and peacock feathers. Girls wore costumes representing Krishna’s companion Radha. It was the highlight of the event, bringing a sense of joy and excitement to the celebration. And also students enjoyed the nutritious snack “aval ball” made from flattened rice.

On the whole their involvement not only added a festive charm to the event but also provided a meaningful way for them to connect with the Indian cultural heritage.
